The Russians took the third place in the number of tourists to Hungary

The Russians took the third place in the number of tourists to Hungary in January-February Tourists from Russia took the third place among all the travelers on the number of nights spent in hotels in Hungary in January and February 2015, the press department of the Office of Tourism of Hungary in Russia reported.

In the first two months of the year Hungary was visited by 446 thousand foreign tourists, which is 10.3% more than in the same period of the last year. In total, tourists spent in hotels of Hungary 1.11 million nights. Meanwhile, Russians spent in Hungary 76.7 thousand nights which is the third result among all the nationalities visiting the country (17,2% of the total number of room nights of all international tourists for that period). In general, in January-February 2015, Hungary was visited by 18.5 thousand Russians (4.4% of the total number of tourists).

The average length of stay in the hotels in Hungary is by foreign tourists2.5 days, by Russians 4.2 days. According to this indicator, they rank second among all tourists visiting Hungary.
