Tour operator Coral Travel announced about launching of a direct charter program to Fukuok island (Vietnam) since the end of October from Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk. Sales of this direction have already begun. As reported in the company, direct charter flights from Moscow will start on October 23, from Ekaterinburg - on October 24, from Novosibirsk - on December 25 and from Irkutsk - on December 30.

As a result of the first half of 2017, Russians by the number of arrivals are in advance of US and European countries. According to the latest data of the National Tourism Administration of Vietnam (VNAT), during the first six months of the year 313.5 thousand Russian tourists visited the country (+ 53.4% in comparison with the same period of 2016).

“Vietnam was visited almost by three times more Russian tourists in January-February 2017 than a year ago”, - said the press-secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Irina Tyurina, referencing to the data of the Vietnam Central Tourism Administration. "During the first two months of this year, more than 118 thousand Russian tourists visited Vietnam, which is 192% more than in the same period of 2016.

“The Russian tour operators have reported about an increasing of demand for Vietnam by 15-20% in this winter season and noted a revival of sales for the spring season”, - told the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) to the portal "Interfax-Tourism".

From January to November 2016 Vietnam was visited by more than 9 million foreign tourists, which is 25.4% over of the last year's level. This is higher than predicted earlier - it was expected that 8.5 million visitors totally will arrive in 2016. In November alone, the country was visited by 926 thousand tourists - 14% more than in October and 25% more than in the same month a year ago.

Azur Air has announced the expansion of its route network in the 2019/2020 autumn-winter schedule, including from Russian regions. The carrier will also increase the intensity of flights to its traditional destinations.
