ATOR: the tourist flow from Russia to Vietnam has increased by 15-20% in the winter season

“The Russian tour operators have reported about an increasing of demand for Vietnam by 15-20% in this winter season and noted a revival of sales for the spring season”, - told the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) to the portal "Interfax-Tourism". Vietnam has hosted in 2016 a record for himself 10 million foreign tourists, an increase of tourist flow amounted 27% against 2015. "The Russian tourist flow maintains its leadership among the European markets over the past year, reaching 434 thousand people, which is 28% more than in 2015. The tour operators reported about increasing of demand by 15-20% for Vietnam in the winter season and noted recovery of sales in spring season", - stated in the ATOR. The market participants pointed out, that demand for Vietnam during the winter holidays was higher than in the last year. "The New Year's dates were in great demand and were closed by 90% almost in early December", - said the Head of PR department of “Coral Travel” tour operator Marina Makarkova.
