Tourists flow from Russia to Vietnam increased by 29% since the beginning of 2016

From January to November 2016 Vietnam was visited by more than 9 million foreign tourists, which is 25.4% over of the last year's level. This is higher than predicted earlier - it was expected that 8.5 million visitors totally will arrive in 2016. In November alone, the country was visited by 926 thousand tourists - 14% more than in October and 25% more than in the same month a year ago. The incoming tourists flow from Russia was increased very noticeably in 2016. The growth is amounted 29%. For 8 months of 2016 Vietnam was visited by 266 thousand Russians, for 11 months – by more than 340 thousand. It is expected that growth will continue, taken into account that in Vietnam the high season begins now.
