Russian tourist flow to Israel increased by 68%

Over the 8 months of 2023, 68% more Russians visited Israel compared to the same period in 2022.

In total, from January to August, more than 131 thousand Russians vacationed in Israel. This figure was 68% higher than in 2022 and 32% lower compared to the same period in 2019.

It is also known that 712 thousand tourists came from the USA, 183 thousand from France, 152 thousand from the UK and 131 thousand travelers from Germany.

For the eight months of this year, 2,5 million foreign tourists visited Israel. This was 69% higher than in the period January-August 2022 and 13% lower than 2019.
