The tourist flow from Russia to Israel doubled

According to the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, the TOP of the leading countries in terms of arrivals to Israel in the first half of the year was distributed as follows:

USA (559,9 thousand tourists, an increase of 66% compared to the same period in 2022);
France (134 thousand tourists, + 38%);
United Kingdom (113 thousand, +54%);
Germany (110 thousand tourists, +90%);
Russia (103 thousand tourists, +100%).

In total, almost 2 million tourists visited Israel in the first six months of this year, which is 95% more than in the first half of 2022 and 13% less than in the first six months of 2019.

Earlier it was reported, that Russia ranked third in the number of travelers visiting Israel in the first quarter of 2023. The tourist flow increased by almost 2,5 times compared to the same period last year, the press service of the country's Ministry of Tourism reports.
