Nordwind will open 7 flights per week to Cuba in winter
The summer flight program of Nordwind Airlines, arranged by the tour operator Pegas Touristik, will continue in the winter season 2023-2024. Now, there are direct Nordwind flights from Moscow to Varadero and Cayo Coco. Blocks of seats on these flights are taken by the tour operators Anex, Intourist and Fun&Sun.
According to Pegas Touristik, the winter flight program to Cuba has already put up for sale. So, from the beginning of the winter schedule, 4 flights a week from Moscow to Varadero are planned. Flights will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays on a Boeing 777-300.
On the Moscow-Cayo Coco-Moscow route, three frequencies per week are announced: flights will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on a Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
Of the tour operators, which take blocks of seats on Nordwind flights to Cuba in the summer, Anex has already published plans for the winter season. The company said that it extended the block flight program to Varadero in the autumn-winter period. Anex clients will be able to fly to the popular Cuban resort 4 times a week.
Coral Travel reminded that tourists can fly to Cuba on regular flights of Rossiya airline. Now, the carrier operates two flights a week from Moscow to Varadero and back. From September the frequency of flights will be increased to three a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
In addition, Rossiya plans to launch flights to Havana at the end of December, said the head of Aeroflot, Sergei Aleksandrovsky. According to preliminary information, flights will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting from December 27.
As per Coral Travel experts, in the top demand in the Cuban destination are beach tours to Varadero for 10 nights. There is also a small number of bookings in Havana (4-7 nights).
