Italian Veneto region and the Crimea will cooperate in economy and tourism

The President of the Regional Parliament of Veneto (Italy) Roberto Chambetti and the Speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov signed on Friday a joint statement on the development of inter-regional cooperation in trade, economy, tourism, scientific and cultural spheres. "The parties will promote the development of cultural and tourist projects, strengthening ties between the people of the Republic of Crimea and the Veneto region", - the document says. The Italian delegation included the members from the five regions of Italy (Veneto, Liguria, Lombardy, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna) and regional parliaments, which adopted earlier a resolution calling to recognize the Crimea and to abolish sanctions against Russian Federation.
