Tourists vaccinated with Sputnik are allowed to enter Israel
From January 9, foreigners from the countries with a low level of COVID-19, who have had a coronavirus or have been vaccinated, are able to enter Israel.
Earlier it became known that Sputnik is not a vaccine approved for entry into the country. However, then the authorities decided to allow citizens vaccinated with Sputnik to visit Israel.
“From Sunday, vaccinated tourists are able to enter Israel. Despite objections from the Ministry of Health and the fact that Sputnik vaccine has not been approved by the FDA, Israel will not prevent Russians vaccinated with Sputnik from entering the country,” the official representative of Israeli authorities reported.
It is specified that tourists will need for entry:
- to fill out the online form on a government website before boarding;
- to make a PCR test or antigen test before boarding an airplane, as well as a PCR test when entering Israel;
- to observe isolation during 24 hours until obtaining a negative result.
