Israel's Minister of Tourism announced the date of the opening of borders for Russian tourists
Israel hopes to open up to organized groups of Russian tourists as early as October and accept individual tourists in November.
However, these will only be vaccinated tourists, and owners of antibodies. However, negotiations are still underway on the mutual recognition of vaccination certificates. This information was announced by the Minister of Tourism of Israel Yoel Razvozov.
The first stage of the gradual opening of Israel was on September 19 - on this day, the country was opened for the first groups of foreign tourists. However, only tourists vaccinated with vaccines recognized by American and European regulators were allowed to enter Israel. Russian vaccines were not included in the list.
“This is discussed at the level of the Ministry of Health, then at the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I know that such negotiations are underway,” - the minister commented. He also added that the main task is the safety of tourists and the population.
Nevertheless, in October, according to him, Israel already expects to open up for Russian organized tourists, and in November - for independent travelers from the Russian Federation. But, according to the minister, only "Russians who are vaccinated, who have antibodies" will be allowed.
