Tour packages to Greece from Russia are offered with stop-overs and by ferry boats from Turkey
Since 2022 there are no direct flights between Russia and Greece. Russian tour operators are looking for alternatives to them. Tours to Crete with departures from four cities with a transfer to Antalya offers tour operator PEGAS Touristik. The tourists can get by Southwind or Turkish Airlines to Antalya with a change to Heraklion. The flight program from Moscow to Crete starts on May 26 twice a week (Thursdays Fridays). A 7 night tour package to Crete early June with a dbl stay in a 3* hotel starts with 1700 euro.
PAC Group announced tour packages to Thessaloniki and Rhodes by Aegean Airlines starting in Yerevan (Armenia). The flight to Yerevan is not included in the package tourists buy it.
The block program from Yerevan to Thessaloniki starts June 15 and will last until September 14. Departures twice a week: Thursdays and Sundays. The first flight within the PAC Group block program to Rhodes will depart from the Armenian capital on July 5.
On the average, a weeklong tour to Greece from PAC Group starts with 1600 euro for two. An mount of 730 euro should be added for the flight Moscow-Yerevan-Moscow.
Tour operators Panteon and Ambotis Holidays have proposed a new logistics scheme. They bring tourists from Turkey to Rhodes and Kos by ferry. The ferry journey will take from 20-25 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes depending on the direction. Two RT Aeroflot tickets to Bodrum or Dalaman can be bought for about 700 euro.
As part of a package tour to Greece, tour operators assist in booking flights and ferry tickets; provide transfers in Turkey and Greece, as well as issuing Schengen Greek visas in 5-7 days.
