Beach tours to Greece in 2025

Demand for beach holidays in Greece this summer season has increased significantly, major Russian tour operators told to Vestnik ATOR. Companies PAKS and Ambotis Holidays draw attention to the increase in the depth of sales in the Greek direction: there are already bookings for October 2025.

Despite the difficult logistics of air travel and difficulties with obtaining visas, tourists are trying to book rooms in «scarce» hotels in Greece beforehand/ According to the Online Express platform, Greece is in the TOP-5 destinations for the summer season and ranks fourth in the number of applications among European countries.

Tour operators provide their clients with visa support in obtaining a Greek Schengen. Organized tourists will get a visa to Greece within 10 working days, but the Greek consulate mainly issues single-entry visas for the duration of the trip. Visa refusals are extremely rare, as noted by tour operators.

There are no direct flights from Russia to Greece, so the travelers have to use connection flights.  To Kos and Rhodes via Turkish Dalaman and Bodrum, from there they have get to these Greek islands by ferry.

The choice of flight options to mainland of Greece (Athens and Thessaloniki) is large. Taking into account the budget and travel dates, the tourists choose connecting flights from Air Arabia, Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines, Emirates Airlines, Fly Dubai, Qatar Airways and Air Serbia. The summer schedule of these airlines includes seasonal flights to the Greek islands of Crete, Corfu, Rhodes, Mykonos. And from April 14, Aegean Airlines launches direct flights Athens - Baku - Athens.
