Russian tourists will be able to buy package tours to Greece this summer

In summer 2025 Russians will be able to travel to the resorts of Crete with only one convenient connection. Package tours to this destination were launched by the tour operator Fun & Sun. They are planned from Moscow (Domodedovo airport) from the end of May to mid-October 2025 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. During this period the tour operator blocks seats on Kuwait's Jazeera Airways on the route Moscow– Kuwait City – Moscow. There are Airbus A320 aircraft on the routes with entire tickets to Heraklion (Crete). Baggage is checked-in directly to Heraklion, so that is a classic connection, not a transfer. The increased free baggage allowance - 30 kg of luggage and 7 kg of hand luggage – is an attractive option as well. 

According to Fun & Sun Greece is no longer a “cheap mass beach destination", so tours to this country are booked mainly by wealthy couples. Only 10% of tourists plan to travel with children. The average duration of the trip is 10-14 days, as tourists want to increase the time of "pure" rest in the tour.
