There will be more flights to Cyprus in the summer 2018
The Cyprus air carrier Cobalt Air will expand its presence on the Russian market - starting March 26, it will start flights from Larnaka airport to Sheremetyevo. On February 19, the program started from two flights a week, with a gradual increase to six times a week by April 24. The cost of tickets starts from 6.8 thousand Rubles (98 Euros) one way. The volume of regular transportation from the Russian capital to Larnaka in the summer of 2018 is impressive: Aeroflot flies there three times a day, S7 twice a day, Ural Airlines and Pobeda every day. Another Cypriot airline - Cyprus Airways – performs flights from Larnaca to St. Petersburg. The tour operators do not see a competitor in the new air carrier. So, the representatives of the leader of the direction - Biblio-Globus tour operator, which sends tourists to Larnaka from 11 cities, are sure that in the case of Cyprus everything depends on contracting. So, Cobalt Air flights unlikely affect the situation with the tourist transportation. By the way, the tour operator decided to increase the volume of transportation to Larnaca from three cities. "The tourist flow to Cyprus is growing, so we are also increasing the frequency of flights. It is planned from one to five flights a day from Moscow and St. Petersburg, depending on the season. Also, the number of flights from Ekaterinburg has increased from 3 to 5 times a week", - Biblio-Globus said. The CEO of Pegasus LLC Anna Pidgornaya reported that in her company transportation remained at the level of the last year (up to 2 times a week).
