The Russians are the leaders in the number of tourist trips to Serbia
Russians are the leaders in the number of tourist trips to Serbia. According to a report published yesterday, 27,5 thousand tourists visited the country in January-February, which is almost twice as many as a year ago, and more than 12% of the total foreign tourist flow.
Following the Russians in the ranking are citizens of Serbia’s neighboring countries. These are North Macedonia – 18,2 thousand and Bosnia and Herzegovina - 18 thousand people. Most often they visit Belgrade, Novi Sad, the resorts of Zlatibor and Kopaonik, as well as the Fruska Gora National Park.
The growth in attendance of Serbia is natural - it is the only European country that has retained direct regular flights to Russia. As a result, ticket prices are high. On the route Moscow - Belgrade - Moscow, a ticket with a departure on April 20 and a return on April 27, for example, is offered for $ 1 130. Air Serbia delivers passengers to the capital of Serbia in 3 hours. The airline also operates regular flights from St. Petersburg, Sochi and Kazan.
Russian citizens have a right for visa-free entry to Serbia for up to 30 days.
