The number of flights from Moscow to Cyprus will be increased
“Ural Airlines will increase frequency of regular flights from Moscow to Larnaca from July 4. The daily flights will be added by one more flight three days a week - on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays”, - it was reported in a press release of the carrier. As Commercial Director of ICS Travel Group tour operator Dmitry Filatov explained, the airline returns the intensity of flights from the capital to the level of the last summer, when Ural Airlines carried out flights with frequency two flights per day. In his opinion, 400-500 additional seats a week will not have a significant impact on organized tourism on the direction. As a result, there will be no excess of traffic. It is noticeable that on the daily boards of Ural Airlines there are blocks of seats of Coral Travel, ICS Travel Group, TEZ Tour and Russian Express tour operators. Tour operators have about two-thirds of seats on flights to Larnaca, the rest are on free sale. In addition, six flights a week are performed on the boards of Ural Airlines upon the program of TUI tour operator. Also on this direction Aeroflot flies three times a day, Pobeda - twice a day, S7 - daily, as well as Cobalt Air, which this year began to fly not only to Paphos but also to Larnaca. A block of seats on these flights is available from TUI and Coral Travel. "The supply and demand on the direction is balanced now", - says TUI leading public relations manager Tatyana Korshunova. The expert's opinion is confirmed by the current minimum cost of a weekly tour package to Cyprus. For the nearest dates of departure from Moscow the price of tours starts from 43 thousand Rubles (586 Euros) for two persons, which is higher than the cost of air transportation.
