At a recent extended meeting of the Government, the head of state emphasized the strategic importance of developing tourism and creating favorable conditions for foreign guests.

In December 2024 the official closing ceremony of the Year of Tourism of Kazakhstan in China took place in Almaty. This large-scale event brought together more than 300 representatives of the tourism industry of the two countries.
