Sergei Shpilko re-elected as president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry

Members of the Russian Union of Travel Industry elected board of the Union, and identified areas of activity in the years 2015-2017, press secretary of the Union Irina Tyurina reported. The following members of the board retained their positions, as President Sergei Shpilko, vice-presidents Yuri Barzykin, Sergei Korneev, and Alexander Osaulenko. Also the Regional Council of the Russian Union of Travel Industry was elected with Olga Sanaeva as CEO, Irina Tyurina said. According to the delegates, Russian Union of Travel Industry represents more than 3311 companies in 10 regional offices. There are in total 643 direct association members and 2131 associated members. According to the Russian Union of Travel Industry, union representatives are members of advisory councils, committees and commissions of the government of the Russian Federation, the State Duma, the Federation Council. The traditional alliance partners are the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation, the RSPP, Russian Union of Insurers, Russian Hotel Association, the Association of Air Transport Agency, the National Association of the resort and the Association of guides-translators.
