Sales of tours from Russia to Turkey has frozen

So, several experts at once confirmed that the sales of tour packages actually has frozen last days due to the negative information background that arose in connection with the aggravation of political relations between Russia and Turkey. The players in the tourism industry also noted the increasing requests for cancellation of already paid tours.

The network of agencies TBG and Hot Tours explain: “There are really few cancellations of tours to Turkey yet. Travel agencies try to orient customers to wait a little.” Tourists can change tours for other destinations, but in most cases these tours will be more expensive than holidays in Turkey.

Maria Bakerina, head of the Geography travel agency network, adds: the intention to refuse tours disappears when people find out that the money will be refunded with deduction.

As for the prices of tours to Turkey, according to experts, they remain stable. Most tour operators continue the period of early booking, a number of companies extended early booking till April and even May due to a decline in demand, although a month ago the demand exceeded last year's figures.
