Russian tourists are in the red list of Tunisia
Before the opening of borders for foreign tourists, the Tunisian government has classified countries according to the level the spread of coronavirus.
Based on this list, the authorities divided the countries into “green”, “orange” and “red” categories. Tourists from the first two lists will be able to come to Tunisia already on June 27. For the third category, where is Russia, the country remains closed for an indefinite period.
The “green” category includes Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, China, Japan, Vietnam and Tajikistan. For vacationers from this list, no restrictive measures are provided at all.
For the "orange" category, which includes Canada, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, a special order of entry is needed. Upon arrival in Tunisia, citizens of these countries must provide a negative covid test.
Finally, Russia, the United States, and most regions of Latin America are in the “red” category. Tunisian authorities promise to open borders for these countries only after the significant reduction of coronavirus pandemic.
Russian tourists know about the difficulties of visiting Tunisia since the beginning of the month. Many of them are ready to go to the country as soon as the state opens the borders.
