Russian tourists are in the 2-nd place in Estonia

According to the Estonian Statistical Office, in 2019, about 3,8 million tourists stayed in Estonian hotels. 59% of them were foreigners, 41% - domestic tourists. The total number of nights they spent in Estonia is 7 million. Thus, foreign tourists in Estonia were 2,3 million.

The first place among lovers of Estonia was taken by the Finns, their share is 36% of the total flow. Travelers from Russia are in the second place - 12%, on the third position are Latvians with 8%.

Most foreign tourists came to Estonia for leisure and excursions - about 71%, and 23% visited the country for business meetings or negotiations. International tourists spent in Estonia 4,4 million nights over the past year. In comparison with 2018, the number of foreign tourists increased by 5%, and the number of Russian tourists who came to Estonia increased by 9%.
