Montenegro announced the opening of borders for Russian citizens
The Government of Montenegro on the evening of August 3 included Russia and Azerbaijan in the "green list" of countries whose residents are allowed to enter without any restrictions.
The decision was made by the National Coordination Council for Infectious Diseases based on the epidemiological situation in both states, as well as "the needs of the Montenegrin tourism industry and national interests."
Thus, the only obstacle for Russian tourists at the resorts of Montenegro is the lack of air traffic interrupted at the end of March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, the resumption of flights may occur in the coming days - since from August 1, the Russian government is discussing the lifting of the ban on flights for all international destinations within 10 days.
Aeroflot is already selling tickets to Tivat from August 10.
