In Russia a program “Japan Friendly” for the hosting of Japanese tourists will be created

“Russia will have a program called Japan Friendly, aimed at creating comfortable conditions for Japanese tourists. The program is similar to the already operating China Friendly”, - said the Head of Rosturizm Oleg Safonov. "We have started the formation of the Japan Friendly program. Now we are actively developing cooperation with Japan. We believe that we also need to create comfortable conditions for Japanese tourists", - added O. Safonov. He noted that within the framework of the program "Russian Hospitality" the Agency is opened for any proposals for creating comfortable conditions for tourist groups. "This is a large scale project, which includes such programs as China Friendly, Halal-Friendly. We call on businesses and regional leaders, who would be interested in tourist groups, for close cooperation with the Agency, and we are open to include other national groups in this project", - stressed O/ Safonov. The “China Friendly” program was launched by the initiative of the “World Without Borders” Association in 2014. The project is aimed at adapting of tourist service to the requirements of tourists from China and creating a comfortable environment for them. Now the program includes 29 accommodation facilities in 10 regions. At the end of 2015, the first China Friendly tour operator "Intourist Thomas Cook" and two “Jamie's Italian” restaurants in Moscow and St. Petersburg have joined the project.
