Demand for Spain grows despite on technical difficulties in the work of visa centers

Spain in April took the 7th line in the list of TOP 10 most requested countries for a holiday. According to Russian tour operators, the growth of demand for Spain resorts for this summer is estimated around 30%, and the depth of sales reaches September. As said Marina Makarkova, the Head of the public relations department of the tour operator Coral Travel, Spain takes the third place in the TOP 3 summer destinations of the company after Turkey and Greece. "Early booking was more active than last year, and it started earlier. In particular, in February the figures exceeded last year's ones by 4 times. The depth of sales is not bad. Bookings are distributed throughout the season until September. On some dates, more than 80% of seats are sold", - added Ms. Makarkova. Elena Laseeva, the Head of Spain, Portugal, Greece and America department of ILC Group tour operator, emphasized the consistently positive dynamics of demand for Spain in this season, especially noted the good depth of sales of this direction: the number of reservations for the fall season and even for the New Year dates has increased. The most popular Spanish resorts are Costa Dorada, Costa Brava and Mallorca. The Russian Express tour operator, confirming that the main demand is concentrating on these resorts, adds to this list Tenerife, as well as Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca.
