Cyprus Airways announces flights to Moscow in winter schedule
Cyprus Airways has announced an updated winter schedule as a part of its flight program for late 2020 and early 2021.
According to the statement of the carrier on its official website, in the next few months, the airline will resume flights from Moscow to Larnaca, which were suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“We are constantly monitoring our route network based on the COVID-19 situation and the needs of our customers. We are pleased that we will include flights to Moscow in our winter schedule,” said Chief Operating Officer of the carrier Gheorghe Mavrokostas.
On the airline's website, you can already find more specific information about the upcoming program. In particular, in the section "flight schedule" it is indicated that the carrier will operate flights from Larnaca to Domodedovo and back from October 25 to January 15, 2021. Departures will be carried out weekly, on Thursdays.
Nevertheless, only tickets for flights from Moscow to Larnaca are available in the booking system. The price of the ticket starts from 350 Euros, including all fees and baggage.
Russian tourists should not rush to buy tickets to Cypriot resorts. At the moment, the country has allowed entry of Russian citizens only who have a residence permit or have received a special invitation from the local authorities. Upon arrival, they must stay in self-isolation over two weeks and pass coronavirus test 48 hours before the end of the 14-day quarantine period.
