Bulgarian resorts improved conditions for early booking and did not rise in price
Most hotels in Bulgaria have kept prices for the Russian market at the level of last year. The leading market players with varying degrees of optimism evaluate the first results of early booking tours to Bulgaria.
Almost all tour operators note a steady demand for Bulgarian tourism products: this is connected with the positive dynamics of the ruble, which allows tourists to more confidently form long-term plans for summer vacations. For example, tour operators Coral Travel, Tui Russia, Biblio-Globus and Intourist already have reservations from tourists with arrivals in September.
Sales data from several tour operators say that demand has grown for Bulgaria compared to the early booking campaign in the summer of 2019.
So, according to Coral Travel, sales of tours to Bulgaria increased by 40%. According to the representatives of Isc Travel Group tour operator, which implements the Bulgarian program on regular flights, the sales depth covers the entire season, and the total volume of bookings exceeds the last year’s results by 7 times. Tui Russia also notes an increase in demand for tours to Bulgaria within early booking program.
In general, sales of Bulgarian resorts for the 2020 season correspond to last year's figures. As Intourist experts say, now the largest number of applications is for June 2020: prices in this period are traditionally lower, and besides, it is not so hot there.
If the current ruble exchange rate will continue to be stable in the spring, then, according to market participants, the sales of the destination will increase. In addition, traditionally, the demand for Bulgarian resorts grows in March-April period.
