Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines has a fleet of 329 (passenger and cargo) aircraft flying to over 300 destinations worldwide. Turkish Airlines is famous for its success in creating viral videos about safety demonstrations and other important topics. During the 6 months (up to February 2019), more than 28 million watched the video of adorable LEGO characters explain, step-by-step, what to do and the importance of following rules during the flight.

Air New Zealand and the World’s coolest video, 2 + million viewers
Last year Air New Zealand focused on global warming with a spotlight on the frozen continent, Antarctica, in its latest safety video that featured Keane’s “Somewhere only we know” in the soundtrack. Featuring Hollywood actor and environmentalist Adrian Grenier, the World’s Coolest Safety Video takes viewers on a breath-taking journey to Antarctica, where Kiwi scientists are tackling the most pressing questions on global climate change. Building on Air New Zealand’s long-standing partnership with Antarctica New Zealand and the New Zealand Antarctic Research Institute, the video sees Adrian team up with Scott Base scientists to track penguin populations, study ice core samples and visit early explorer Ernest Shackleton’s hut and the vast Dry Valleys. More than 2 million viewers and all the penguins are safe. Awesome for travelers, families, naturalists and kids!

British Airways are fond of artists and comics, 11 million+ viewers
In 2017, British Airways, in collaboration with Comic Relief and other famous actors, created a safety video that opened to more than 11 million viewers. Celebrities are seen auditioning in humorous sketches in front of comedian Asim Chaudhry, as Chabuddy G, while simultaneously demonstrating the safety features and procedures on the aircraft.
