Antalya plans to host 12 million tourists in 2018

“The Turkish province of Antalya expects to host 12 million foreign tourists in 2018”. The most part of this tourist flow will belong to the Russians”, - said Erkan Yaggi the President of the Mediterranean Association of Hoteliers and Hotel Managers (ACTORS). He underlined that by the end of 2017 the total number of tourists to the province will amount 10 million travelers. It was reported earlier that in January-September 2017 Antalya was visited by 3,376 million Russian tourists, which was a record of the tourist flow from Russia for the entire time of tourist history. Earlier 2014 year was considered as the most successful one for the Russian market in Antalya, when the resort was visited by 3.307 million tourists from Russia. In 2017, the number of Russians who visited Antalya exceeded this figure as of September 30. In total, from January to September 7.45 million foreign tourists visited Antalya.
