Visa-free stay of Russians in Cuba will increase up to 90 days

“The Russian government approved the draft agreement on visa-free travel between Russia and Cuba. The maximum period of stay of Russians without a visa in Cuba will increase up to 90 days”, - informed the official website of legal information. The agreement published on the website states that without a visa citizens of Russian Federation and Cuba can "enter, leave, follow transit and stay on the territory of Russia or Cuba without visas for up to 90 days during each period of 180 days counted from the date of the first entry". Those who intend to stay and live on the territory of the other party for more than 90 days must obtain a visa in accordance with the legislation of the country of entry. Between Cuba and Russia there is already an agreement on visa-free travel for tourists with a stay up to 30 days. The Russians in 2017 made 75 thousand trips to Cuba, which is 67% more than a year earlier.
