Vietnam returned visa-free entry to Russians
According to the National Tourism Administration of Vietnam (VNAT), on March 15, 2022, the government of the country adopted Decree No. 32 / NQ-CP, exempting citizens of 13 countries from the obligation to issue visas. This list includes Russia and Belarus.
Citizens of these countries can stay in Vietnam without a visa for 15 days from the date of entry, regardless of the type of passport and the purpose of entry.
The decree on visa-free regime came into force from the date of adoption and will be valid for three years. Further, the visa-free regime can be extended in accordance with Vietnamese law.
Vietnam is preparing to restart international tourism. However, the Vietnamese departments responsible for this process have not yet agreed on tourism protocols related to the sanitary control of tourists arriving from abroad.
