Sputnik V is the first registered Russian vaccine against coronavirus, created on the basis of adenovirus. The vaccine is registered in more than 50 countries.
Russian online platform Cosmos Travel has launched coronavirus vaccination packages for Russians living abroad. The cost of such tours is 1500 and 700 euros respectively. The package includes accommodation, local transportation and escort to the vaccination center.
Similar tours for foreign citizens have been previously developed by both European and Russian companies. Tour operators in many countries are ready to sell vaccination tours to Russia, because of increasing demand. According to experts this initiative could provide a good investment in the Russian economy, since such trips are rather expensive with minimum 21 days stay or two arrivals. In addition, such tours include, as a rule, not only the vaccination itself, but also excursions, travel around the country. Russia does not enjoy any restrictions: theaters, museums, restaurants and bars are open.
Everyone is waiting for the decision of the Russian authorities, but these initiatives remain plans.
For the moment only Russian citizens or residents can be vaccinated in the Russian Federation.
