Ural Airlines suspends flights to Italy
Ural Airlines announced the suspension of a number of flights to Italy. The first restrictions will come into force on March 12 for the flights Domodedovo - Venice - Domodedovo (according to currently available information, the special regime will last until April 25).
Also, the flights from Zhukovsky to Rome scheduled for March till April 25 on Mondays and Wednesdays will be canceled. Also, restrictions will be applied to the route Domodedovo - Bordeaux - Domodedovo (from 12.03 to 25.04.2020).
The Airline explains these measures in its statement by the “unfavorable epidemiological situation” in Italy. A number of tour operators, who are actively play in the destination, called the carrier’s decision as logical.
Speaking about the further development of events, Natalia Golovlenkova, the managing partner of the company, said: “Now some of the clients will be reordered to other countries where they can ski - for example, some of our tourists are ready to go to Andorra, Austria or Switzerland. And someone prefers to freeze money in order to use it for a trip a little later.”
