Tunisia becomes a year-round destination
Last summer, Tunisia retained the title of one of the most popular beach destinations among Russian tourists. For several years, the resorts of the Republic have positioned themselves as year-round ones. Moreover, as practice shows, there is a demand for Tunisia in the winter and off-season. This is confirmed by the fact that on November 9, for the first time in the winter schedule on the Moscow-Monastir route Nouvelair Tunisie regular flights were launched, where Anex Tour has its own blocks of seats.
According to Neji Guider, the head of the Tunisian national tourism office in Russia, Nouvelair Tunisie flights will be carried out all the winter season - the last flight under the program is scheduled for March 28. The departure frequency is once a week on Saturdays on Airbus A320 airliners.
It is important to note that in the winter it is unlikely to enjoy a beach holiday in Tunisia, but there are a lot of reasons to visit the country during this period.
Firstly, as in the summer, Tunisia is ready to offer its guests a large selection of excursion programs. Among the most popular attractions of Tunisia are the city of Carthage, Bardo - the second largest museum in Africa, the town of Sidi Bou Said, the Colosseum, the ancient city of Dugga and others.
In winter, the weather in Tunisia is most suitable for long walks, so that the inspection of the oldest historical sites will be very comfortable.
Secondly, it is no secret that Tunisia is famous for its thalassotherapy, which is based on the healing properties of the local marine climate.
