Most popular foreign destinations for Ural citizens in 2019

International airport Kolzovo has served 575 000 passengers on the flights from Ekaterinburg to Russian and foreign resorts during June and July 2019. In comparison with the same period of 2018 the increase is more than 5%. Top 5 most popular destinations are: Antalya, Sochi, Simferopol, Anapa and Larnaka. Turkey is the leader without any hesitation. The passengers’ flow to Antalya, Dalaman and Bodrum equals 230 000 in June and July 2019. The airport Kolzovo has 10 flights to Turkey daily, several flights are being fulfilled on Boeing-747, -777, -767.

The specific feature of this summer is the sufficient grow of passengers on Russian resorts destinations. During 2019 the total amount of flights in these directions is bigger on 1/3 and equals 233 000 passengers. Towards Simferopol the grow is 52%, Sochi-33%, Gelendjik-21%, Mineral’nyye Vody-124%.
Citizens of Ural region are also interested in Altay thanks to direct flight between Ekaterinburg and Gorno-Altaysk, started this year.
