Tourist market prospects for the autumn season 2021
Tours for the autumn season, 2021, according to the observations of the tourist experts, are quite in demand.
In general, the TOP-10 most popular foreign destinations for the autumn season this year, as per the data of tour operators, includes Turkey, UAE, Maldives, Greece, Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Abkhazia and Croatia.
Tours to Turkey are in the most demand among all foreign destinations (which is expected due to the wide geography of transportation and the availability of charters).
The data of the leading tour operators, such as Coral Travel, Anex Tour, Pegas Touristik, Tui Russia, Tez Tour, confirm that Turkey is in first place in sales of tours for the autumn season.
“Yes, Turkey currently is a leader in sales of foreign tours, including for the autumn season. At the moment, we have its share of 80% of the total sales for September-October," - said the press service of the tour operator Intourist.
Antalya resorts (Alanya, Kemer, Belek and Side), as well as the resorts of the Aegean coast, are in the list of the most popular regions of Turkey among the clients of tour operators. The resorts of the Antalya coast account to 85% of sales, the Aegean region - just over 10%.
The Egyptian resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh still take insignificant shares in the sales structure of tour operators for the autumn season.
“Egypt has no chance to be in the TOP -5 of the autumn leaders yet. Without charters and broad regional flight programs, its position cannot be called strong. Nowadays, we offer tours to Egypt from 1 390 Euros for two persons,” says the expert from Pegas Touristik.
Many tour operators that do not specialize in Turkish destination call the Maldives as the leader in demand for the autumn season.
The average price for tours to the Maldives is 1 712 Euros per person for 10 nights + air ticket (Russian Express operator). A tour to the Maldives for 7 nights at a good level 4* hotel with breakfast will cost 990 Euros per person with a regular flights (Spectrum operator).

In Cyprus, the vast majority of bookings are in the Ayia Napa region,” - explained Elena Yakimova, marketing director at Tez Tour.
