Tour operators will launch charter programs to Egypt in full volume in autumn
Tour operators are likely to launch charter programs to Egypt in full volume in autumn, when the country's high tourist season begins, the press service of the Intourist tour operator said.
The company stressed that while there is no clarity with charters, it is impossible to talk about what the flight programs will be and when they will begin.
"All flight capacities are already engaged for Turkey, and tour operators must fulfill their obligations for tourists who have purchased tours to this country. In addition, summer is not a season for Egypt, in August there is a fifty-degree heat. Therefore, most likely, all the summer schedule will be carried out as planned, and charter programs to Egypt will begin in the autumn, as it was traditionally before the closure of the destination," the press service informed.
Intourist recalled that last year Tanzania was opened on August 1, but charters flew there since October, when the high season began in the country.
Tez Tour believes that it will take about 3-4 weeks to determine the volumes and conditions for resumption of flights and to conclude agreements with airlines on charter programs.
To enter Egypt Russians now need to fill out a health declaration, where they indicate information about themselves, flights, insurance and contacts with patients. You also need to present a negative PCR test, done no earlier than 72 before arrival in the country, or a certificate of vaccination with two doses of Sputnik V (the second injection must be made no earlier than 14 days before the trip).
