Aeroflot expects charter flights to Egyptian resorts in the coming days
The management of Aeroflot is confident that in the next few days a decision will be made to lift restrictions on charter flights to airports of Egyptian resorts.
The general director of the national carrier Mikhail Poluboyarinov told reporters about this. “It is rather difficult to replace the Turkish market, we expect Egypt to be opened in the coming days, and it may be possible to slightly compensate the passenger flow,” the speaker explained.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov made a similar forecast. According to him, the issue of charters has already been finally resolved. It remains only to clarify a few details related to the rules of crossing the border by Russian tourists in pandemic conditions.
Recall that nowadays there is a delegation in Hurghada of three Egyptian ministers - health, tourism and civil aviation together with the Russian specialists. The delegation is checking the readiness of the resort to receive aircraft from the Russian Federation.
