Tour operators told how they will fly to Tanzania
Already on August 1, tourists will be able to go on vacation to Tanzania. It will be possible to fly there from three cities of Russia - Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.
A number of tour operators have already included tours to Tanzania in their booking systems. Tours with a departure in the first half of August are offered by Coral Travel, Tez Tour, Intourist, Anex Tour and Art-tour tour operators. Currently, the tours are offered on the basis of regular flights with connections.
According to the expert of the aviation market, so far none of the travel service providers has announced charter flights on the destination.
“We are not planning any charters to Tanzania yet. There are tours on regular flights, but we do not note a high demand for them. In Tanzania, there are difficulties with the hotel base, there is not a lot of accommodation facilities. In addition, tours to Tanzania cannot be called as budget ones. A week-long tour for two persons with a departure in early September costs about 1 576 Euros with air transportation and accommodation in a 3* hotel on BB basis”, - said the press service of Anex Tour.
Dmitry Arutyunov, General Director of Art-Tour, assessed the demand for Tanzania as steadily growing. “You can buy a tour to Tanzania with a departure on August 1. We offer tours on a flight from Moscow to Dar es Salaam on Turkish Airlines with change in Istanbul. From Dar es Salaam it is only an hour flight to Zanzibar or 2 hours to Arusha, which is the ideal starting point for most safaris, such as the Serengeti National Park. And after the safari, you can go to Zanzibar for a beach holiday. In Tanzania, for a complete experience, you should combine a safari and a beach,” said the expert.
