Tour operators plan to arrange charters to Dubai in October
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the resumption of international flights to the UAE (Dubai) with a frequency of 2 flights a week. Aeroflot said the company will resume flights to Dubai from September 11 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Despite the fact that the government of the Russian Federation has presented this decision only in general terms, tour operators already are planning to start selling. In the Emirates, the high season starts in the autumn, and hoteliers who have lost their main tourist flows have been waiting for Russians for a long time.
Flydubai and Emirates promise to clarify within a couple of days how soon flights can be permitted.
So far, we are talking exclusively about transportation to Dubai Airport (DXB), not Al Maktoum, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. That is, the start of some charter programs remains unclear. But by the season, which begins in the twentieth of October, tour operators will be able to lobby charter programs.
At the same time, the possibilities of regular flights will be enough for some tour operators.
There is a demand for the destination: even in quarantine, tourists were actively interested in tours to the UAE for October-November. At the same time, the resumption of direct flights is expected not only in Moscow, but also in large cities such as Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Krasnodar and Mineralnye Vody.
