The UAE resume flights to Russia

The UAE aviation authorities expect to restore air traffic with Russia. At the same time, forecasts are optimistic - the restart is scheduled for mid-September.

“We are currently negotiating with the UAE aviation authorities. They are ready to restore air communication with Russia on the basis of reciprocity. Everyone hopes to expand the list from the Operations Headquarter," a source close to the aviation circles commented.

“At the same time, we are not talking about opening of borders for certain categories of citizens - the Emirates have expressed their readiness to receive tourists. It is possible that air traffic will be restored by mid-September. This is good news for tourists, because in winter they will be able to go to the sea when the beach season in Turkey comes to an end,” the source said.

In addition, Kazakhstan and Armenia are counting on opening flights with Russia in September. Cuba is also considered "according to unconfirmed information".
