Tour operators cancel foreign tours in July
While Turkish official sources are optimistic about the timing of the restoration of air transportation from Russia to Turkey, the leading tour operators continue to adjust their plans for the summer.
On June 25, Coral Travel informed its retail partners about the cancellation of tours abroad until the end of July due to the information from the Federal Tourism Agency to refrain from traveling outside the Russian Federation.
In Pegasus, tourists are also offered to rebook all tours with departures until July 31. In other companies, such decision has been made for tours in the first half of the next month.
Thus, Anex Tour reported that they canceled tours to Turkey from July 1 to July 15, customers are offered to shift their vacation dates. In Tez Tour, this applies for tours until July 17.
Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy gave an interview in which he called again the expected date of the restoration of tourist flow - tourists from Russia are expected in Turkey after July 16. From the same day, Turkish Airlines plans to fly to Moscow. The flights to St. Petersburg and Krasnodar are in the plan since July, 17.
However, there is no certainty that these flights will take place.
