The tour operator forecasts an increase in demand for tours to Dominican Republic from Russians
“The demand for tours to Dominican Republic has grown among Russian tourists this year. This trend will continue”, - according to forecasts of Anex Tour operator. "According to Dominican Tourism Ministry, the resorts of the country were visited by more than 118 thousand Russian tourists. This number significantly exceeds the figures for the same months of the previous year. In the winter our experts also expect an increase in demand for Dominican Republic, a successful season in the country will continue", - says the press- service of the company. In Anex Tour decided to extend the flight program for the winter season with daily departures from Moscow and departures from St. Petersburg twice a week by charter flights of Azur air. "Following the client demand, we have expanded the range of accommodation facilities not only at the resorts of the eastern coast - Punta Cana, Bavaro, Macao, Uvero Alto, but also at the resorts located on the south coast - La Romana, Boca Chica, Juan Dolio", - added the press service of the tour operator. According to the Dominican Ministry of Tourism, more than 118 thousand tourists from Russia visited the country for the first half of 2017. This is three times higher than in the same period of the last year. From January to June 2017, the tourist flow to Dominican Republic from Europe increased by 21.7% against the same period of the last year.
