The number of flights to Venezuela in winter may be increased
Conviasa airline, which already flies from Moscow to Caracas once a week, plans to launch from October 1 a weekly flight to Porlamar, on Margarita Island. Blocks of seats on this flight will be taken by tour operators Intourist and Tez Tour. Information about this was confirmed by representatives of both tour operators.
According to Intourist, the tour operators have been negotiating the launch of direct Conviasa flights to Margarita Island with the Venezuelan Ministry of Tourism, as the current traffic volumes are not enough for the Russian market.
“Demand for the Venezuelan destination is high. Our seat blocks on Conviasa flights to Caracas are already closed until mid-November. The booking depth of the destination reaches March 2023. Venezuela is in the TOP-5 of sales,” the press service of the tour operator said.
The company added that they are now discussing the launch of additional Conviasa flights to Margarita Island for the New Year.
Package tours with a direct flight Moscow - Porlamar will be available from Intourist in the coming days. Representatives of the tour operator are confident that this product, due to more convenient logistics, will be in demand, including among those who want to make holidays on the neighboring island of Koche.
In addition, Intourist plans to offer Russians a vacation on the mainland resorts of Venezuela with a transfer from Caracas airport.
Another novelty is being prepared - these are combined tours to Cuba and Mexico with a flight via Caracas.
