On September 27, an event of the tour operator Pac Group, dedicated to the sales of the UAE, was held in Moscow. As Ilya Itkin, CEO of the company, noted, the Emirates are breaking all records this year, showing good results not only in the traditional winter season, but also in summer.
According to Mr. Itkin, this year the UAE entered the TOP-4 destinations of the company with Turkey, the Maldives and cruises. Demand for the Emirates, as per his forecasts, will increase next year as well.
The main news for tourists is that in the upcoming winter season, many Arab airlines will significantly increase their transportation.
Thus, from October 4, Etihad Airways adds 3 flights to Moscow. By this step the company increases transportation by a third - up to 10 flights per week.
In addition to the Russian destination, the company has opened additional flights to Zanzibar, Santorini and Nice. The Russians will be able to get to these resorts with connection in Abu Dhabi.
Since September, the number of Emirates flights from Moscow has also increased to 17 per week. The schedule was added by a new morning flight from Domodedovo, which is very popular among tourists. To St. Petersburg the airline flies 4 times a week.
flydubai, which currently operates flights to 8 cities in Russia, also plans to expand its transportation, but so far, from Belarus. So, from October 22, it resumes daily flights from Minsk.
