The List of Tour Operators Eligible for Outbound Tourism Will Be Done Till 15-th of April

In the beginning of April, Tour Operators Association in Outbound Tourism Tourpomosch (click to read more about the Association) reminded tour operators that they according to the law they have to pay the membership fee till April 15, 2015 to extend their membership in the association.

Within remaining two weeks, tour operators who are planning to operate in the field of outbound tourism, should pay the fee to compensation fund of Tourpomosch in the amount of 0.1% of the funds received from the sale of tourism products according to the financial statements at the end of 2014, but not less than 100 thousand rubles . Tour operators also have to pay another 5 thousand rubles for operating expenses of Tourpomosch.

CEO of the Association Vyacheslav Basov explained that currently about 400 companies extended their membership, and the Association continues to receive documents from operators. “According to our expectations,” Vyacheslav Basov said, “by 15-th of April, it will about the same number of tour operators registered in Tourpomosch as in the same period in 2013 and 2014, that is about 700 companies.

“But this is not the final data, since first new companies might enter the market. Second, those tour operators who recently have financial guarantee for inbound tourism operation would extend their membership when they get the insurance required for outbound tourism. In total, we expect not less than 1.000 company members in the Association,” he said.
