The flights programs of tour operators to Greece

A number of Greek tourist players have increased the volume of air transportation to Greece for this summer. Thus, the tour operator "Muzenidis Travel" this year will increase the volume of transportation on the Greek destinations by 35%. The basis of the flight program is the flights of Ellinair airline, which is part of the holding Mouzenidis Group. Ellinair plans to fly this year from 15 Russian cities (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Voronezh, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Pyatigorsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saratov, Ufa) to 10 airports of Greece and Cyprus (Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania, Corfu, Kavala, Rhodes, Araxos, Zakynthos, Larnaca). On the Greek direction in 2018 season Muzenides Travel continues the Russian-exclusive flight programs by the wings of Ellinair to Kavala (the airport of arrival of tours to Thasos Island) and to the airport of Zakynthos Island from Moscow and St. Petersburg. In Crete, in addition to the flights to Heraklion, the tour operator launches a completely new exclusive flights to Chania, located in the western part of the island. Finally, in this season another island exclusive of "Mouzenidis Travel" will be convenient connecting flights of Ellinair to the islands of Mykonos and Santorini for tourists from the capital and regions of Russia. The change will be at Thessaloniki airport, the time of connection is not more than 2 hours. As TUI Russia reported, in comparison with the last year their transportation to Greece has been almost doubled. So, the flights to Crete will be carried out from April 29 on Wednesdays and Saturdays by the wings of Ellinair and on Thursdays and Saturdays by Ural Airlines. The TUI Flight Program to Corfu starts on May 26 2018, the flights will be four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays by Ellinair flights. The programs for Rhodes will be performed from May 30 on Wednesdays and Sundays by Ellinair flights. The direct flights from the regions will be available to TUI customers from St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Mineralnye Vody, Novosibirsk, Samara, Saratov and Ufa also by Ellinair. ANEX Tour operator will start a flight program from Moscow to Rhodes since May 27 and till October 10. Flights will be carried out 2 times a week. The carrier is NordStar. In addition the flight program to Crete will also be implemented by the flights of AZUR air: from Moscow since 25.04.18 5 days a week, from Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Rostov-on-Don - each 11 days, from St. Petersburg - 2 times a week.
