The first two months of 2019 showed an increase in tourist traffic from Russia to Tenerife. In January, the number of arrivals increased by 54.8% compared with the same month of 2018 and reached 5,757. In February 10638 Russian tourists went to Tenerife, which is 60% more than in February last year. 

In February 2019, the total flow of tourists from all over the world to Tenerife increased by 6%. The growth rate of Russian tourist traffic exceeds the average level and amounted to 23% during the winter months. Such information was presented by Visit Tenerife. 

“The Russian market in the first months of 2019 showed an increase in traffic by 23%. One of the reasons for the growth in demand is regular air traffic between Russia and Tenerife. Thanks to the latest changes in the airline’s flight program, the number of flight sites has doubled since the fall of 2018,” says marketing company TMI, citing statistics on inbound tourism for Tenerife.
