Tui Russia has changed the previously announced flight program to Colombo Airport.

The tour operator Tui Russia has analyzed the demand for the New Year holidays and compiled a rating of tourist destinations where Russians plan to travel with their children.

The rate of early booking of tours for the winter season - 2019/2020 is ahead of last year's figures. The tour operator Tez Tour currently records a 10-15% increase of sales.

Israel has set the goal of increasing the number of tourists from Russia to 400 000 in 2019. Since the beginning of the year, the number of guests from Russia has grown by 4%, In accordance with this fact, tour operators increase transportation volumes in Israel.

The flights to Cuba are planned by 5 main Russian tour operators. They have chosen 6 different airports of Cuba as arrival points for the tourists. The new charter flight program of TUI Russia in Santa Clara (Cuba) is approved by Russian Aviation Ministry. Also, the tour operator will sell tours for other two resorts based on these flights — Cayo Santa Maria and Cayo Las Brujas.  The duration of the tours is 10, 11 and 21 days. In total, in the winter season, the company intends to carry out 17 flights, which will transport up to 6,5 thousand tourists.  According to TUI Russia report, IFly airline will perform the flights to the island of Santa Clara on A330 airplanes with capacity of 387 seats. 

On May 25, the first charter flight of TUI tour operator took place on the route Moscow - Girona (Spain). The flight program will be performed from Domodedovo on the wings of Ural Airlines on Wednesdays and Saturdays until September 21. Such a frequency of departures will allow to form tours of any duration - from 4 to 21 nights. 

Tour operator TUI Russia and the largest charter carrier of the Russian Federation - airline AZUR air, told about the cooperation in the summer season of 2019. The capacities of AZUR air will be extensively used by TUI on 6 destinations, flights are planned from 11 regions of Russia.

In 2019 TUI Russia plans to send 1.3 million tourists for holidays, increasing two times its volumes and number of departure regions in comparison with 2018. The charter programs of the tour operator will be carried out from more than 20 cities of Russia. By the end of 2018 TUI Russia had 700 thousand clients.  The reality of these plans is also confirmed by the current rates of early booking. As the general director of TUI Russia Taras Demura explained, at the moment the tour operator has already sold up to 30% of the tours for the summer season. 

“TUI Russia tour operator plans to send 650 thousand Russian tourists to rest in the summer season of 2018”, - said the representative of the company.

“OTI Group (the holding which includes the Russian tour operator Coral Travel), TUI group and Anex Tour have served the most volume of Russian tourists in Turkey in 2017”, - reported the local Turizmdatabank portal. In comparison with 2016, TUI has ceded leadership to OTI Group, while Anex Tour rose from the sixth line of the rating to the third.

“Tour operators TUI Russia and Mouzenidis Travel have created a strategic alliance in order to expand the range of offered programs in Greece”, - representatives of both companies said at a press conference on February 5. "TUI Russia up to now was focused on Crete and Corfu, Mouzenidis Travel has traditionally very strong positions in Northern Greece.

TUI Russia and CIS tour operator will open its representative offices in four other regions of the Russian Federation, increase the number of retail stores by one third and almost double the number of offering destinations. These are the plans presented by the General Director of the tour operator TUI Russia Taras Demura. According to Mr. Demura, this year the tour operator plans to increase its volumes by 3.5 times and send at least 200 thousand Russian tourists to Turkey and 150 thousand to other countries.

“Turkey will become the locomotive of growth of outcoming tourism market. The tour operator NTK Intourist plans to send more than 500 thousand tourists to this country”, - said the General Director of the company Victor Topolkaraev.

Russian investor Alexei Mordashov, the chairman of the board of directors of "Severstal", has expanded his participation in the largest travel company in Europe. Only for the last two weeks the oligarch bought shares in TUI Group in the amount of approximately 24 million Euro.

“Tour operator «TUI Russia" has expanded its range of exotic tours, offering visitors the tours to Indonesian Bali island and combined trips to Indonesia with Singapore visa-free visit”, - said the press service of the company. TUI adds to its range the most famous island of Indonesia – Bali. Departures from Moscow are on the bases of Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines (with one change) and the programmer lasts from mid of November till the end of March 2017.

The structure of Alexei Mordashov Severgroup increases stake in a joint venture with TUI Group, which carry the tourist assets in Russia and the CIS. Share of TUI Group in TUI Russia & CIS will fall from 49% to 25%, the share of "Severgroup" will increase from 51% to 75%. At the same time as the report of TUI says, the company will contribute $ 3 million in venture capital. "Severgroup" will contribute $ 17 million and will provide short-term financing in the amount of $ 5.1 million.
