TUI tour operator launches charter program to Girona

On May 25, the first charter flight of TUI tour operator took place on the route Moscow - Girona (Spain). The flight program will be performed from Domodedovo on the wings of Ural Airlines on Wednesdays and Saturdays until September 21. Such a frequency of departures will allow to form tours of any duration - from 4 to 21 nights. 

The first flight to Girona flew right on schedule with 100% occupancy, according to the press service of the tour operator. 

“The flights to Girona will be the basis for TUI Russia package tours in the Costa Brava region, the eastern part of the coast of Catalonia. The distance from Girona Airport to the most popular resorts of Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar and Blanes is no more than 40-60 km. Previously, all the tours began from Barcelona, ​​now the transfer to the hotels of the Costa Brava will take much less time,” TUI reported. 

In 2019, the tour operator offers a broad range of hotels and excursions in the Costa Brava. This region is attractive for all categories of tourists. 

TUI considers the launch of its own flight program to Girona to be an important step in the development of Spanish destination. The tour operator records a 60% increase in the demand for holidays in Spain and intends this summer to significantly increase the volume, expanding the range of flight programs and hotels. As TUI noted, in the summer season 2019, the company intends to send at least 30,000 Russians to Spain, which is twice bigger than last summer.
