Safonov: The Russian tourist brand will be in the spring of 2017
“The work on the development of the Russian tourism brand will be completed in March 2017”, - told to reporters the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Oleg Safonov on Tuesday.
"We had planned to complete the work in December, but in the process of implementation we realized that some things have not been taken into account. New partners, highly qualified experts were invited to take part. We decided that all the results we will sum up probably in March 2017. The process is extremely important, we need no rush in it”, - O.Safonov added.
We will have 18 concepts that will be transferred to our partners, who will be engaged in checking that the concepts", - said the co-president of the Association of branding companies Alexey Andreev.
The opened all-Russian contest "Russian tourism brand" is an initiative of the Federal Tourism Agency and is developed with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Association of branding companies.
In 2015, the first stage was held, in which everybody may participate. As a result, about 10 thousand ideas have been collected. The second stage involves the professional branding agencies and experts in the development of the brand.
Yury Mishchenko, graduated from Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages, has more than 15 years experience in tourism and travel. Working both in tour operator company as destination manager, and in travel agency as sales manager, he is focused on analysis of Russian tour operators’ daily routine. Recently, Yury works in Baginet Marketing and Sales Agency.
